Our original and custom designed glass sculptures are crafted to withstand the elements, using the finest art glass, lead came, steel supports, copper tubing,
and by nature, passion, care and love.
Each "signature" glass sculpture design is unique in its creation and thus there is no one way in which a defined “process” occurs. Because each design is uniquely created for a particular space and/or purpose or even person, family or business, much of the creation is done naturally and spontaneously. The sculpture is designed and created intuitively with the foundation of a desired size, intention and color scheme as the template for the creative process. If there are particular colors, shapes, design aspects that are important to you or your client, those will be incorporated into the design.
The intention of each custom sculpture is to create a design that brings harmony and balance to wherever it is placed. We do this through knowledge, experience and skills honed by many years combining glass, colors, textures and patterns to create a specific frequency or vibration. We have been using our color artwork, both personally and professionally, to uplift, bring joy and inspire individuals, couples and businesses in their unique spaces for over 30 years.
Unlike mass-produced glass sculptures, at Global Glass Scapes we build our sculptures to last by using the finest art glass, steel supports, copper tubing and lead came (which ages into a dark blue-gray patina over time). Our glass sculptures can be used indoors as well as outdoors, and can be embedded into concrete, hardscaping or soil. They are built to withstand the harshest elements. Whether nestled into a peaceful corner or used as the main focal point of your landscape or hardscape design, our glass sculptures make a statement. Whether that statement is a whisper or a shout is up to your imagination.
Our initial conversations, in person or via phone and email, will answer questions you may have about placement, intention, colors, patterns and elements. Custom designed 5 foot sculptures are $2599. You will receive a description of the overall energy/intention of the design as well as the meaning of specific components of the design when your glass sculpture is complete.
